Authentic salvaged antique condition. The heavy, solid architectural brass plate measures exactly 15 1/2″ long by 2 1/2″ tall. Weight is 1 pound 6 oz. The front face features incised, stylized Art Deco typography reading “B”, “1”, “2”, “3”, “4” alongside an up-arrow cut-out on the left and a down-arrow cut-out on the right. The numbers retain fragments of their original red enamel fill, and the brass surface shows a deep golden-brown natural patina with handling wear. The reverse side features original round dark glass lens filters mounted behind the cut-outs to diffuse internal light bulbs, though the backing for the down arrow is missing.
The back lower corner displays a crisp, original factory-stamped serial/production number sequence: 231798 over a standalone 7. Both far outer edges retain their original round counter-sunk mounting screw holes intact.
Guessing made 1920s – 1930s. Cool Old Indicator!!
